Figure skating brings me so much joy and my desire as a coach is to help you love the sport while growing and developing as a skater. I coach all aspects of skating- jumps, spins and skating skills- but my greatest passion is Ice Dance. I began Ice Dancing at 8 years old and tested through Gold and four International dances. Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, we are a military family currently stationed here in San Antonio. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Matt, and we have 4 beautiful and busy children.

My full-time job is teaching figure skating and I absolutely love it!  Through figure skating, I have an opportunity to shape young lives.  As a coach, I take great pride and joy in watching my students not only become skilled in skating, but also learn the valuable life lessons of self-motivation, self-confidence, dedication, and determination. My current rate is $70/hour or $35/half hour.

It's important as a coach to teach my students strong skating skills and technique that sets them up for success.  I'm passionate about my student's skating journey and dedicated on coaching them to be the best they can be.

As a coach, I aim to teach proper technique in a safe and fun manner, building a strong foundation for my skaters. I foster a positive and challenging environment to help students reach their full potential, using skating for artistic expression, motivation, and determination both on and off the ice.

As a coach, I want to help you achieve your goals whatever they may be. Whether it be just skating for fun and learning a new skill or skating at the competitive level, I hope to help you get there! I teach students from a variety of backgrounds as well as age and skill levels. As a USFS member with a background in competitive singles, synchro, and theater on ice, I use my wide range of experience within the sport to create well balanced skaters. I absolutely love that I get to do this for a job every day and find great joy in seeing my students progress and find enjoyment in the sport. Currently my rate is $30 per half hour and $60 per hour.

I was born and raised in Florida where my love of skating began. I relocated to Texas in 2023, and am excited to have joined the SAFSC! Here is a little about my skating history:

Former professional skater for Disney on Ice with a passion for building the skills of young figure skaters and hockey players from the ground up. I specialize in jumps, spins, edgework and power skating.

The life lessons skating provides for young boys and girls is invaluable and something that is carried with you throughout your whole life. I feel blessed that I get to be part of that journey for every skater that I coach and share my passion for skating with each and every one of them on a daily basis!
